Missed callings

What am I doing wrong? I just checked out Sports Illustrated's list of 50 top-earning American athletes of 2007, and it's very instructive, not to mention depressing. world of warcraft power leveling
First of all, let me just get this out of the way: There are no Pittsburgh athletes on the list. The closest on this list are former Pittsburgh Pirates Barry Bonds (14th, $22,800,000 total, salary and endorsements) and Jason Schmidt (41st, $15,750,000). That kind of money will buy a lot of cow hormones, Barry ... if you were so inclined, that is. Just saying.
So what else did I learn? Two of the top three highest-earning athletes are golfers. You have Tiger Woods at No. 1 ($111,941,827) and Phil Mickelson at No. 3 ($51,256,505). Both make a lot more in endorsements than salary, but let's face it, they owe it to golfing. Can you believe that? Golfing.
That's very interesting, with the U.S. Open coming up at Oakmont next week and all. Reminds me of that Dire Straits lyric: "Money for nothin' and your chicks for free." Well, it reminds me of the money part anyway.
But speaking of chicks ... I mean, the ladies ... Michelle Wie is the only female on the list at No. 22 ($20,235,224). She is the highest person on the list who makes less than $1 million in salary. gas detector foosball table runescape money
Now I know what I'm doing wrong. I have three daughters and I didn't shove a golf club into any of their hands at age 2. What was I thinking?
Football is the finest sport in all the realm, but you have to look all the way to No. 12 to find the highest-earning football player. That would be Peyton Manning, who hawks DirecTV, ESPN, Gatorade, MasterCard, Reebok and Sprint, among other things. Cut that meat, Peyton, cut that meat. World of Warcraft Gold
As I said, no Pittsburgh athlete made SI's top 50, but a recent survey by Street & Smith's Sportsbusinessdaily.com ranked Big Ben Roethlisberger as the fourth most marketable player in the NFL. Roethlisberger pushes Nike, Campbell's and ProTrade, some regional deals, and he has his own line of beef jerky and BBQ sauce through PLB Sports. And I hear he has a big Fathead, too. wow lvl china travel WOW Gold
Back to SI's top 50, Michael Vick is the next NFL player on the list, all the way down at No. 24 and $20,000,000. That will buy a lot of dog food and other dog supplies. In a perfect world, Vick would spend all his earnings for the rest of his life on these things, making as many dogs as comfortable as possible. Because he's a dog lover, I'm told.
The remaining NFL players on the list are also quarterbacks: Brett Favre, Vince Young and Tom Brady. So sorry, Lawrence Timmons. You can set an NFL record for sacks this year and every year of your career and you still probably will never sniff this list. It's a quarterbacks' world, even if you make a living by knocking them on their wallets ... or their Fatheads.
By the way, you are wondering who No. 2 is, right? It's boxer Oscar De La Hoya. He makes the top salary at $53,000,000 and picks up $2 million more in endorsements. I say, more power to him. He should be making that much and a lot more for getting his brains knocked around for other people's amusement. Chanel wow gold wow powerleveling
But I guess if he was really smart, he'd be playing at Oakmont next week.
